Peter Olugbenga Adeleye
Dr. Peter Olugbenga Adeleye serves as the Acting Director General, the Institution of Data Scientists and Analysts. He is the elected General Assembly Member (Nigeria) at the 4th Permanent General Assembly, African Union Economic, Social and Cultural Council (ECOSOCC). He was also the Head, Human Resources, Science and Technology Cluster Committee of the African Union ECOSOCC Nigeria.
He holds WorldQuant University, USA Applied Data Science: Scientific Computing & Python (with honors), Certified Mobile Web Specialist, Google Cloud Engineering, Android Developer and Certified Data Analysts. He posses the following skills: Computer & Internet, Communication, Facilitating, Report Writing, Solution Provider, Programming such as Python, R, Tableu, Power BI, PHP, Java, Kotlin, Microsoft Office, Android Development, Web Development (HTML, CSS, Javascript) among others.
In 2019, he was selected as one of the Google Africa Developer Scholarship recipients (Mobile Web Specialist Category), a finalist at the Google Impact Challenge 2018 – Organization Category and also earned the 2020 Google Africa Developer Scholarship (Google Cloud Engineering) o mention but few.
He equally serves as National Coordinator, African Centre for Citizens Orientation, an NGO in special consultative status with United Nations ECOSOC. Peter Olugbenga Adeleye is a fellow of the Public Health Institute, USA, an information technology expert, data scientist, human rights educator, digital rights activist, and an entrepreneur with over twenty-three years’ experience in programming, Information Technology, data science, youth development, girls child education, project development, community safety, education, and entrepreneurship.
He is an award winning and talented administrator, curriculum developer and project manager; he won the Youth Crime Watch of America International Casey Extra Mile Award in 2004 and 2005 and also in the year 2006, he won the Oyo State Youth of the Award and many international laurels and recognition.
He sits on the Boards of nationally and internationally recognized organizations including Institute of Innovation and Digital Management, Institute of Information Studies and Knowledge Management, Pan African Institute for Entrepreneurship and Community Development, Pan African Chamber of Culture, Trade and Investment, Perry Olufemi Adeleye (SR) Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Transportation Engineering, Africa Centre for Citizens Orientation, among others.
